Warehouse Worker

We have opportunity for an experienced WAREHOUSE WORKER to join the team working in a busy warehouse & yard environment for an IPSWICH based distribution business.

Core working hours are Mon to Fri, 3pm to 12 midnight (45 hrs per week) plus overtime during busy periods. The rate will be £11.50 (reviewed within the first 6 months) plus overtime at a slightly enhanced rate.

As a WAREHOUSE WORKER in this business you will find yourself:

- Moving stock around the facility
- Loading & unloading trailers
- Unloading containers
- Putting together customer orders
- Operating overhead cranes
- Keeping the warehouse and transport yard organized and tidy
- General warehouse and yard tasks

The successful WAREHOUSE WORKER will have the following skills and experience:

- Warehouse or yard experience
- Physically fit & able to undertake moderately physical work indoors and out
- Order picking
- Willing to perform general duties around the warehouse & transport yard as required
- Previous overhead crane experience would be advantageous although training will be given

This WAREHOUSE WORKER requirement is a permanent, full time, Monday to Friday position, employed directly by the company and NOT an agency or contract job.
