This will give a strong foundation for anyone who wishes to pursue a career in Customer Service in general, or within the Optics industry in particular.

**What will I learn?**

As well as completing an apprenticeship in Optical Practice Support, you will also have the opportunity to learn about the various different types of eyesight that people who need glasses might have, some learning about how spectacles are actually made, along with some early insights into the kind of things that can sometimes go wrong with eyes.

**What qualification or qualities are required?**

There are no set qualifications required, but an interest/ qualification in IT and/ or Admin would be considered an advantage. The main requirement is to be keen to learn, and to present yourself well and be able to talk to people in a friendly and polite manner.

**Salary**: £11,500.00-£19,900.00 per year
