Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain a variety of têxtile weaving equipment, including looms, knitting machines, and embroidery machines
- Select appropriate fibres, yarns, and fabrics to use for specific projects, with a special focus on traditional materials
- Read and interpret technical drawings and patterns to create custom têxtiles
- Create sample têxtiles for clients, as well as for our own product line, using traditional techniques
- Prepare and dye fibres, yarns, and fabrics to achieve desired colours and textures, with a special focus on traditional methods
- Collaborate with an in-house team of embroiders and painters to create unique artistic pieces, using a good eye for colour and collage

Qualifications:

- At least 3 years of experience working as a têxtile weaver with a focus on traditional Bangladeshi and Indian têxtile and weaving techniques
- Experience operating and maintaining embroidery machines
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality têxtiles
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- A portfolio of previous work is required

**Job Types**: Permanent, Graduate

**Salary**: From £20,960.00 per year
