Manchester, United Kingdom Charity Horizons Full time

St Ann’s Hospice believes that everyone is entitled to the highest possible standard of living. They offer specialised palliative care to adults suffering from cancer and other life-limiting illnesses at all phases of their condition while seeking to satisfy their unique medical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs and helping maintain their dignity. They also offer incredible support to families, carers, and friends as they recognise the difficult time this can be for so many. St Ann’s is a truly special place and has, over the years, transformed the lives of people at a time when they need it more than ever.

As all their services are entirely free of charge to patients and their loved ones, the hospice is largely dependent on fundraised income, therefore, we are delighted to be searching for a creative and innovative individual to join the vibrant and dedicated Fundraising Team at the hospice and raise funds to support hundreds of patients and families every year.

- Managing and leading key community partnerships, such as the Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme
- Delivering presentations about the hospice's work to promote activities to target groups and individuals
- Working alongside the Fundraising Manager to achieve the income budget

**The Person**

We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate person with excellent communication skills, who is experienced in building effective relationships. Ideally you will have proven experience of working closely with volunteers and in developing relationships with local businesses, however we are also keen to speak with people keen to develop skills in these areas. You must be able to communicate confidently and professionally with individuals of varying levels of seniority and be both creative and flexible with a collaborative approach to working. This role would be a fantastic opportunity for both experienced fundraisers, but also anyone wanting to launch a career in this exciting and rewarding area of work St Ann’s Hospice is committed to developing and supporting its staff and by joining as Community Fundraiser you’d be forming part of a collaborative and compassionate team that puts huge emphasis on staff wellbeing and the creation of a positive workplace culture.
