**JOB TITLE: BUYING & MERCHANDISING**

**CO-ORDINATOR**

**REPORTS TO: DIRECTORS, GENERAL**

**OPERATIONS MANAGER**

**DEPARTMENT: CUSTOMER SERVICES**

**LOCATION: IRVINE**

**JOB PURPOSE**: To work closely with the Designers, Buyers, Logistics Manager and Area Manager to allocate, administer and monitor stock trends to ensure effective distribution of stock based on data review, thereby contributing to the overall growth of sales, company targets and customer satisfaction.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES//ACTIVITIES**:
The Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Allocation of Stock, based on historical data and general sell through. New stock distributed & allocated according to store grade.
- Sales Reports; performance of all departments, update weekly reports, weekly sales overview, best and worst sellers, sell through, returns analysis, recommendations for moving slower stock.
- Prepare product analysis - from attributing product (e.g. shape, colour etc) to analysing the sales figures, sizing analysis and lessons learnt for the merchandiser, buyer & designers.
- Dealing direct with suppliers and factories on the critical path from design to production right through to the sales floor.
- Managing and overseeing t est reports & ensuring full compliance.
- Working with designers on the buying and development of the product.
- Assisting the buyers by producing the range planning and detailed analysis
- Assisting with the maintenance of each range plan, chasing missing information and prices as required.
- Assist the Web, PR and Marketing teams by providing information in relation to collection launches and sales & stock levels.
- Pricing - Updating the systems with price corrections, silent markdowns, and discounts. Helping to set markdowns by analysing sell through, stock cover and profit margin.
- Updating and forecasting markdown and terminal stock under the guidance of the buyers.
- Maintaining all product information on the system.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**:

- Excellent administration skills with 5+ years experience in an administration position
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
- Able to meet deadlines
- Courteous and polite, patient and enthusiastic
- Organised approach to work with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to analyse sales & stock data & make recommendations based on the data
- Report generating
- Good telephone and correspondence skills
- Ability to work in a team and be helpful to colleagues
- Well organised and good problem solving abilities
- Maintain professionalism in all communication

**QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL ABILITIES**:

- IT skills with Excel at an advanced level
- 5+ years’ experience in an admin or similar role
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to liaise with colleagues and suppliers at all levels
- Strong planning and analytical experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
