A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate **Host/ess** to join **The Emory Bar & Bar 33** department team at **The Emory**.

This role will be part of the Bars Team of The Emory, which encompasses two unique bars. Bar 33 has an unparalleled 360-degree view of the capital, the hotel’s spectacular rooftop will be the jewel in its crown - an entirely private, sweeping space dedicated to hotel guests only designed by Remi Tessier. The Emory Bar, a welcoming contemporary space to enjoy cocktails, coffee and a selection of dishes from our restaurant, abc kitchens. Featuring mid-century inspired decor in a warm, inviting palette, the bar flows naturally into our Courtyard — where the tables are framed by a sprawling-stained glass piece by acclaimed artist, Brian Clarke.

The Maybourne is proud to introduce a new architectural landmark to London. The final project designed by the late Lord Richard Rogers, The Emory will be an exclusive, world-class hub of art and culture which marks the addition of a modern masterpiece to the group's global luxury estate. Situated on Knightsbridge and overlooking Hyde Park, The Emory will present 61 contemporary suites set over nine floors.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
As a **Host/ess,** you will be responsible for greeting and seating guests in a warm friendly manner to ensure that The Emory LQA and Forbes standards of service are maintained at all times. You will be the very first impression of our department and set the tone for the entire experience.

**Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to**:

- Plan the service and table allocations on a daily basis in service to achieve the best guest experience while maximising covers.
- Edit bookings reports for each meal period and dispatch them to all interested Departments (kitchen, doormen etc)
- Monitor bookings through Reservations Software and share them and important or useful information about our guests preferences with management team.
- Promote a helpful and professional image to guests and colleagues and give full co-operation to either guests or colleagues requiring assistance, with a prompt and helpful attitude.
- Contribute in maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA and Forbes standards at all times.
