**What You’ll Be Doing**
In the role of a Senior Infrastructure Engineer you'll be regarded as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and be responsible for providing strategic expertise to ensure effective management of the technical and business Services for their specialist area.
Accountable for the transition and ongoing support of the relevant solutions at CBS to meet business requirements and IT architectural strategy. Responsible for the creation, quality and governance of technical and standards documentation to maintain a stableand consistent environment.Provides a high level of technical knowledge to complete the troubleshooting and resolution to production incidents or problems to meet operational needs and ensures business as usual service is maintained to service and operationallevel agreements.The role also includes the provision of assistance to the Architecture, Development and Support teams to implement and support solutions into the CBS estate. Looks for improvement opportunities which involve coaching, mentoring, planning,supervising, supporting and training of team members.
About You
**Essential Skills**:

- Windows Server expert in several product versions
- Microsoft Exchange Server Administration experience
- Demonstrable Active Directory knowledge to strategic design level
- Expert understanding of Group policy, DNS, DHCP, DFS, ADFS
- Server / Blade / Cluster Technology Experience
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- TCP/IP, FTP, HTTP(s), SMTP, SSH, Telnet, TLS/SSL, SNMP
- Experience of working within an ITIL environment
- Antivirus suites

- PowerShell experience, with good scripting skills
- Knowledge of Globalscape EFT
- M365 / Exchange Online
- Citrix Experience
- Cisco UCS Experience
- Exposure to VMware Esxi and Vcentre.
- Amazon AWS experience
- Microsoft Azure experience
- Exposure to SAN technology
- Certificate Services.
- SCCM
- Experience with Backup software

- Available for out-of-hours support, on a rota basis.
- Be flexible in supporting BAU activities or Project work as required
- Able to work under pressure.
- Thorough, with a good attention to detail.
- Deliver to agreed timescales.
