We have an exciting opportunity to join our Derby Team of Driver Mentors to train, coach and instruct drivers both on a one to one and group basis to ensure that high standards of competence are reached and maintained.

**As a Driver Mentor you will**:

- Undertake mentoring of practical and technical driver training and the accumulation of hours for train handling
- Complete necessary training documentation
- Act as an ambassador for exemplary Driver behaviours
- Undertake the relevant training courses associated with the role of Mentor and learn new routes and traction as required.
- Need to be flexible and cover both the Etches Park Depot and Mainline.

We are looking for Mainline Drivers with at least 3 years’ experience who are looking to contribute to the success of the Derby Driver team through great mentoring. You will be an excellent communicator and have a positive attitude towards rules and procedures. You will also be highly organised and be able to prioritise your workload.

No previous mentoring experience is required as full training will be provided.** We have permanent and secondment positions available.
