**Store Person/Buyer**

Jim Stokes Workshops Group is a prominent and highly respected restorer of Vintage, Historic & Classic Cars with a global reputation. Our highly skilled team restore, maintain and recreate some of the most significant and valuable road and racing cars in the world.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our busy stores department and play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our stock management and procurement processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Source and purchase automotive components, spare parts, and accessories from suppliers, while ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
- Utilise the Sage accounting software to manage purchase orders, invoices, and stock movements.
- Liaise with customers in relation to the sale of parts and process sales orders.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and proactively seek new suppliers for the procurement of specialised components.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand their requirements and provide necessary assistance in sourcing parts for vehicle restoration and maintenance.
- Conduct regular stock checks and implement appropriate measures to prevent stock discrepancies or shortages.
- Receive incoming deliveries, inspect the quality of received goods, and ensure proper documentation and storage.
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfil internal requests for parts and components.
- Assist in the implementation of effective warehouse and storage management procedures.

**Preferred Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with Sage accounting software is preferred.
- Some understanding of automotive parts and components.
- Proven experience in stock control and purchasing.
- Strong communication skills for dealing with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
- Good IT skills, proficient in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- A flexible, proactive and problem-solving attitude, with the ability to source components and find alternative solutions when necessary.
- Understanding of import and export procedures would be an advantage.
- Valid driver's license.
