**Company Accountant - Co Antrim**

Reed Finance is partnered with a hugely successful and growing group County Antrim, in the appointment of an experienced Company Accountant.This is a newly created role in line with the business growth, and our client is open to considering applicantsfrom a **practice** background as well as industry.

This is truly an excellent opportunity to join a fabulous commercial team with ambitious growth plans *Office based role.

Working closely with the Finance Director, and supporting the SMT, the successful applicant will hold a varied remit but one which will grow and develop over time.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Reconciliation of month end WIP balances including manual WIP calculations
- Job costing analysis and profitability reporting by job
- Customer payment allocations
- Credit control / retentions / aged debt analysis including input to cashflow forecasts
- Management Accounts / Annual Accounts for all 3 group companies to trial balance, alongside FD
- Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Monthly processing to facilitate reporting and compliance deadlines
- Support annual budget process

**Essential criteria**:

- Experience within a similar role (preferably within the construction/manufacturing sectors)
- Experience with SAGE Accounts or similar software
- Part-qualified, fully qualified ACCA/ACA; or AAT or equivalent (and will consider qualified by experience with 5 years’ relevant sector experience)
- Competent using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
