**Job Title: Property Surveyor**
**Location: Covering a patch of properties in Merseyside**
**Contract Type: Full time, permanent**
**Salary: £38,101.65 plus a car allowance at £5,800**
**Hours: 37.5**
**About the role**:
You will be responsible for managing delivery of property investment, service & inspection, and repairs services to a group of properties, approx. 30 locations depending on geographic spread.
You will ensure timely delivery of repairs and major works, ensuring all properties are kept in a good condition whilst ensuring that contractual and legal obligations are met.
You will manage within a budget achieving a balance between repairs and major works expenditure. You will do this whilst achieving high levels of customer satisfaction through strong collaboration with housing/Care colleagues to ensure works run smoothly and meets the needs of the business and residents
**About you**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- The ability to build high levels of trust, openness, honesty, collaboration, and support across teams.
- An excellent planner and forward thinker, with strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Knowledge of building pathology and remediation actions
- Experience of project management of investment, compliance services and/or reactive maintenance work.
- To have a minimum 3 years’ experience of managing property activities in social housing; either full time or through relevant day release courses.
