Head Start Education is seeking an energetic, tolerant and dedicated Head of Maths to join our well established team of Maths teachers.

You will need the ability to lead and manage people to work towards a common goal, as well as good decision-making skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.

As Head of Maths, you will promote a relentless focus on the quality of education and delivery of a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of pupils and young people along with producing positive outcomes. Being able to create an engaging approach to curriculum design and planning for pupils is a must.

You will be working with some of the most disengaged young people in the region with a range of SEMH and behavioural needs. The job is highly rewarding for those that think every child deserves a second, third or even fourth chance to achieve and succeed.

Previous experience of working in a SEMH environment would be desirable but not essential. A good sense of humour, excellent support skills and strong levels of resilience are also just as important.

You will have a Degree and Teaching Qualifications and experience teaching Maths.

We have a proven track record of supporting ambitious staff in to middle and senior leadership posts. We are very happy to discuss flexible working arrangements, including part-time working and job-sharing.

**Salary**: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
