We are looking for play workers that are organised, motivated and flexible with excellent personal and social skills who are dedicated to supporting students within a before and after school setting, previous experience of working with children and current enhanced DBS is essential.

Successful staff will be expected to continually contribute, comply, and promote the safeguarding policy to ensure the safety and security of Children, young people, and vulnerable adults.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and assist with activities whilst encouraging good behaviour in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Setting up, clearing away and general upkeep of activities and resources.
- General administration duties i.e., register taking.
- Work as part of a team with the lead staff to ensure that children can play in a safe environment.
- Can communicate and work with young children.
- Liaise with school staff regarding the provision when necessary.
- Communicate regularly with the office to ensure the delivery of the provision is smooth and effective.
- Providing food and refreshments and ensuring that hygiene and health and safety standards are met.
- Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role.

Our breakfast and afterschool clubs are an opportunity for parents that require an extended school day to use qualified, well organised childcare provision based on their children’s school site. We pride ourselves on offering children a more active and social breakfast and afterschool club experience.

**Pay**

£9.50ph - £15.00ph

**Hours**

7:30am-9am (finish time dependant on school timings)

3:00pm-6:00pm (start time dependant on school timings)

Term time only (school holidays opportunities available at our alternative provisions)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.50-£15.00 per hour
