**About the Role**:
We are seeking a motivated **Junior Legal Associate** eager to embark on their next career opportunity within a dynamic legal and financial services business. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional looking to gain valuable experience in the legal and financial services industry. As an enthusiastic and eager individual, you will have the chance to learn from experienced professionals, further develop your skills and grow your career whilst making a meaningful impact within our organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various topics related to financial services, contracts, regulatory compliance, and other relevant areas.
- Assisting with the due diligence and commercial assessment of investment opportunities, including but not limited to supporting legal analysis, deal structuring, financial engineering and modelling.
- Support with the drafting, communicating, pitching and defending of investment theses.
- Participating in structuring, negotiating and documenting investments.
- Assist in reviewing and drafting legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and internal policies and provide support to senior legal staff in managing client relationships, responding to inquiries, and addressing client needs.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and help develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Handle administrative duties such as file management, document organization, and scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Work closely with senior management to support departmental initiatives and projects whilst taking an advantage of opportunities for professional development and training, including mentorship from senior management.

**About You**:

- Strong academic record with a Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or equivalent in law.
- Entry-level position; previous internships or work experience in a legal or financial services setting preferred but not required.
- Understanding of legal principles and terminology, with a willingness to learn and develop expertise in specific areas.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to research complex legal issues and communicate findings effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks, including document review and drafting.
- Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn from senior management and contribute to the success of the team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing deadlines and requirements.
- Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive information.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
