**About The Role**:

You can join us within our Delivery team to take a pivotal role as a Chapter Lead over our software development / testing team and be part of our journey through this transition.

Our tribes have full responsibility for the end to end lifecycle of our products. The tribe consists of multi-disciplinary teams / squads combining all the technical skills to develop, maintain and support allpay’s solutions.

As Chapter Lead you will be not only a technical lead but also a people manager forming part of the wider tribe leadership.

Your role as a People Manager

As the Chapter Lead for Developers you will lead and manage a team with experience of object oriented programming languages, especially C# and.NET.

Within this role you will:

- Undertake all areas of managing your people throughout the whole employee lifecycle, from recruitment, onboarding to talent management and everything through to separation.
- Set the vision and standards within the Chapter creating an environment where your people can thrive.
- Facilitate open and effective communication channels leading to greater knowledge transfer within the Chapter.
- Potentially manage external parties as part of our scalable resourcing models.
- Build and nurture the people within your chapter by ensuring they develop the right skills and knowledge and can effectively see their career plans.
- Provide in the moment feedback to your team members and create a coaching first culture.

Your role as a Technical expert
- Provide pro-active recommendations based on your areas of expertise.
- Manage conflict and collaborate between parties, when required, to maintain engagement whilst delivering against a plan.
- Collaborate closely with the squads, product owners and all other stakeholders to build great working relationships and also develop our continuous improvement.
- Attend workshops inputting your technical expertise to help build solutions for allpay.

**About You**:
About You?
- Be passionate about building and delivering a great product to our customers.
- Have a masters degree or equivalent by experience.
- Have a strong background as a developer with C# and used to working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Have great people management skills with the ability to help a team to thrive through coaching and mentoring.
- Be used to working in a DevOps environment and focus on continuous improvement towards quality standards.
- Have a good understanding of development methodologies, TDD is advantageous.
- The ability to be curious and learn quickly in a fast paced environment.
- Communication creating an open and transparent culture within the team and wider department.
