Janitor/industrial Cleaner

Our client, based in Pudsey, has a vacancy for a Janitor/Industrial Cleaner. The role consists of keeping the site in a clean and orderly condition and **performing heavy cleaning duties**, such as loading skips, cleaning floors, emptying bins, removing rubbish and routine maintenance.

The hours are 37.5 per week. This is flexible but generally the hours will be 8 - 4 Monday to Friday with half an hour for lunch.

The tasks are as follows:

- Cleaning building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Empty all waste bins daily and dispose of any trash.
- Service all rest rooms and dispensers.
- Follow procedures for the use of all cleaning products and any power cleaning aids.
- Make sure all surfaces are cleaned on a regular basis.
- Exchange waste cages when needed.
- Make sure all finished printing material is moved to the correct department.
- Ensure the site is kept clear of any clutter and all pallets are stored in correct areas.
- Inform the management of any requirement for supplies and equipment needed for the general maintenance duties.
- Notify the management of any security issues, repairs needed, or hazards.
- Perform other tasks as requested by the manager when asked.

**Qualifications**

No formal qualifications are needed but some experience in the role would be an advantage, but the ability to work under no supervision and time management to achieve set targets is critical.

Salary will be £10.00 - 11.00 per hour
