Florist Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist to join our team. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. **Responsibilities**:

- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and funerals
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect flowers and arrangements for their needs
- Arrange flowers in vases, bouquets, wreaths, and other decorative displays
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and supplies
- Ensure that all floral arrangements are properly cared for and maintained
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, taking orders, and resolving any issues or concerns
- Keep the work area clean and organized

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities including Spanish are a plus
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and their care requirements
- Previous experience working in a floral shop or related field is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Sales experience is beneficial for upselling and promoting additional products

Note: This is a paid position. Internship positions must also be compensated according to labor laws.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
