Care Coordinator

_Based in Kent, Lauriem Complete Care Ltd are a well established and expanding provider_ _of domiciliary health and social care services. We serve as both a local authority contracted & private provider._
- An exciting opportunity has opened up for a full time Care Coordinator to join our fast paced but friendly office team in Maidstone. _
**Responsibilities of the role: (but not limited too)**
- Rostering staff to provide a safe & efficient delivery of service to our clients.
- To take joint responsibility for the provision of care in your allocated locality.
- Monitor community care workers & carry out supervisions & appraisals.
- Liaise with other professionals involved in the service users care.
- To support and / or be included in the On-Call service during out of hours.
**Skills and abilities**:
- Able to work as part of a team as well as under own initiative
- Skilled logistics
- Highly organised and able to prioritise.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of domiciliary care provision.
**Preferable**:
- Be willing to work towards a QCF (NVQ) level 3 in Care/ Management or equivalent.
- Domiciliary Care experience.
**Required**:
- IT skills
- Excellent customer service skills
**Personal Qualities**:
- Pleasant, helpful & concise telephone manner with customer focus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast paced environment.
- Patient and empathetic.
- Flexibility to cope with changing demands and priorities.
- Calm under pressure.
- Own transport essential.
- A team player.
