Golden Lane Housing have an exciting opportunity for a Allocations & Voids Officer. This is a 12 month fixed term, full time (37.5 hours per week) role and is based from our Manchester Office.
The Allocations and Voids Officers (AVO’s) provide a key point of contact for the Housing Team, other internal service delivery areas across GLH and work with a range of contacts both internally and externally in relation to voids and allocations.
The AVO’s lead on the administration and delivery of all functions connected to empty rooms and/or properties and the allocation and lettings of those rooms and properties. In addition to voids, lettings and allocations works, the AVO’s will provide effective data management and information via internal systems to support the Allocations and Voids Manager in monitoring service delivery.
- Demonstrable customer Service Skills in a housing or similar environment
- Good administration skills and the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Excellent IT skills with the ability to work across multiple suites and packages
- Demonstrate an interest in and desire to know more about Learning Disability
- Knowledge and Experience of working with Vulnerable People
- Knowledge of supported housing and the issues this part of the sector can face
- Voids Management Experience
- Allocations & Lettings Experience
- Data Management Experience
- Risk Management Experience
- Skilled in Building Positive Relationship with Partners.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: £27,084.00 per year
