The Contracting Coordinator, EMEA supports the regional Contracting Specialists/Managers and relevant Regional Managers to ensure all budgets and contracts are accurate and aligned with company objectives, across all brands under the G Travel Community (“GTC”).

The incumbent is also responsible for supporting the sourcing of new vendors and reviewing existing vendor relationships with a focus on costs and service quality, to ensure the company maintains its competitive advantage. Clear communication to all stakeholders and a passion and commitment to detail, speed, and accuracy are critical for success in this role.

What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all trip budgets, and contracting content actioning as required.- Partnering with relevant stakeholders to implement reviews of trip budgets.- Ensuring budget updates are legitimate and the impact of changes is communicated to all stakeholders.- Monitoring of cost inputs to ensure accuracy and alignment with objectives of cost management, working with appropriate teams to resolve any questions or discrepancies in costs.- Assuring room blocks at time of contracting to align with system data.- Reporting as necessary to ensure management are equipped with current data for meetings.- Administering, maintaining, and storing vendor contracts.- Maintaining G Adventures services database content.- Supporting the development and maintenance of GTCs tour products and content.- Supporting research needs and other initiatives as requested to support product standards.- Communicating results to relevant teams to meet deadlines as needed.- Growing relationships with existing vendors and sourcing new vendors for future products.- Ensuring GTC is a preferred customer with vendors we partner with and that they understand and deliver on accurate brand messaging.- Embracing and leading change as the company launches new initiatives.- Keeping current of the competitive marketplace via vendor relationships and market intelligence.- Encouraging and promoting our social enterprise purpose through vendor selections and engagement.

Desired Skills and Experience

Must have:
- 5+ years experience in the Tourism industry Knowledge and understanding of the contracting process and buying cycle- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline- Knowledge and understanding of the EMENA supplier market- Attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment- Ability to prioritize and multitask- Strong team player orientation- Advanced oral and written skills in English- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to learn G Adventures internal software (Compass, Polaris, Salesforce, Siglos etc.)- Understanding of, and identification with, GTC Core Values- Required to travel
