Exciting opportunities has arisen for committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated Health Care Assistant to join our friendly team on Fordham Ward in Colchester Hospital.

This is part time-23 hours per week fixed term/secondment contract until 16.06.2024

Health Care Assistants are a key part of our ward team and support the Registered Nurses in providing high quality care. Due to the nature of the area there are various opportunities for HCA’s to develop skills and a career pathway within the NHS.

If you have excellent communication skills, a professional manner and are committed to providing high quality patient care, preferably with orthopaedic experience, we want to hear from you

To assist the Registered Nurses to care for the patient to ensure their physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are met

To meet the direct and indirect care needs of patients under the delegation and supervision of Registered Nurse

To ensure high standards of patient care at all times, in line with Trust policies and guidelines.
