Yard Operative/grinder

Total Staff Services are currently recruiting a Yard Operative/Grinder to work for one of our clients based in Birkenhead/Wallasey. You will be working outdoors on a steel yard carrying out general labouring work. You will initially complete various tasks before moving into a more advanced position where you will be using machinery on site to treat and grind steel. Your role will predominantly be working with a team however you may also be required to work alone when necessary. **£10.50ph.**

**Duties will Include**:

- Grinding work.
- General yard cleaning.
- Steel treatment/grinding.
- Working as part of a team as well as alone.
- Carrying out any outstanding tasks on site.
- Loading and unloading deliveries.
- Heavy lifting.
- FLT Work with valid license.

The shift pattern in place for this role will be 0700-1500 Monday to Friday. Overtime may be offered outside of typical working hours in busier periods, this will be paid at a higher rate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
