Construction Planner

My client based in SW London are looking for a Senior Construction Planner.

They are specialists that deliver super-prime residential properties across London. They have a track record of delivering bespoke and technically challenging projects across central London including, Knightsbridge, Mayfair and Belgravia.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience and practical in-depth knowledge of Asta Powerproject
- Able to provide up-skill training to the current project management teams - run in-house CPD’s on aspects of Asta PowerProject
- Good understanding of the construction industry and processes from the design stage through to completion of the projects
- Technical understanding and insight to identify cause and effect
- Managing multiple project programmes at once
- Working autonomously and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills are required and ability to work as a member of a team
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Preferably a construction related education (BSc/MSc)
- Able to produce detailed reports on the status of projects, including delay analysis, reason for delay and demonstrating the cause and effect
- Reporting to the Construction Director

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare tender programmes to support bid proposals with resourcing charts and critical path analysis
- Support the delivery function, which involves creating and managing construction project programmes at a detailed level
- Attend site weekly to assess progress, liaising with the site management team
- Manage, track and evaluate progress of live sites and the pre-construction phases, reporting delays and managing delay process
- Work closely with senior management, project teams, design teams and sub-contractors to maintain accurate and up to date data for different stages of projects.
- Time to be split between office and site
