We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate Scientist 1 to join our Manufacturing department in Glasgowon 6month contract. In this role, you will be responsible fora wide variety of routine tasks to support manufacture of client product,such as cell and virus banks,in a GMPcompliant production facility.Responsibilitieswillinclude working within themanufacturing facilityfollowing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure routineproduction campaigns run smoothlyand documentation is completedaccuratelyand in accordance withappropriate scientific and GMP regulatory standards.Responsibilitiesalsoinclude aseptic manipulation of client product, general housekeeping of laboratories areas, stock control and equipment maintenance.The ability to maintain effective working relationships with support services, scientists and laboratory personnel will be critical for success in this role.

**Who you are**:

- Educated to minimum of HNDlevelin Biological Sciences/related Subject, or equivalent work experiencein GMP manufacturing facility
- Advantageous to have knowledge / experience incell culture or previous work experience in cleanrooms
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work within a fast-paced environment, with a strong problem-solving ability
- Must be self-motivated, with high levels of initiative, facing challenges with energy,driveand the need to finish, with a strong focus on quality and safety
- Demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively, with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate, ideally with prior knowledge of working with LIMS
