We are looking for a Catering Supervisor who can support the Catering manager across the catering department. Ideally you would need to be experienced within catering either from a school, hotel or restaurant setting be comfortable in a fast paced, high-volume environment and have previous experience as a team leader or supervisor. The role is commutable from York, Harrogate, Wetherby & Knaresborough, and you will need access to your won transport to complete this role. You will need to be available to complete shifts starting at 6.30am and finishing no later than 7.30pm and be available to work weekends on a rotational basis

**Role**:

- Assist the Catering manager in the overall running of the department
- Ensuring a high quality of food service is always offered
- Proactive in ensuring the cleanliness of the Catering department
- Deputise for senior managers in their absence
- Responsible for weekend cover across the catering outlets
- Ensure all meal services are set up in time and well presented
- Ensure all COSH, Food Safety & Health & Safety requirements are adhered to
- Assist in the running of functions & school events
- Attend training when required

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a team leader or supervisor role
- Excellent customer service
- Knowledge of COSHH
- Basic food safety knowledge
- Full UK driving license - due to the location of the school
