**This vacancy is for a Training Officer**

Home Care Direct are industry-leading specialists in personalisation. We help a wide variety of people to take control over their care at home using personal budgets, personal health budgets, direct payments or their own funding.

About the post:_**

This is a permanent, full-time post for a Training Officer based at our head office in Chesterfield. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, initially office based with the option to move to hybrid working *.

About your duties:_**

You will be required to support the Training Team in planning, coordinating and administration for the personal development of all employees at HomeCareDirect. You will maintain accurate and compliant records providing a comprehensive training service to the organisation ensuring that regulations are met; this includes development for all personal assistants supporting our clients in their own homes, community nurses and all departments within head office.

You will undertake general office duties as well as supporting the Training Manager in organising in-house and external training, preparing materials and document presentation, dealing with queries and liaising with various professionals.

You will take responsibility for your own duties as defined in this advert and job description and will support the Training Manager in the smooth running of the department.

**About you and our requirements**:
We are looking to recruit a confident, proactive team player who has a keen interest in learning and development. You must show commitment and a willingness to be flexible and adapt easily to meet the changing needs of the company.

You will be organised and punctual with excellent attention to detail, prioritisation, literacy and numeracy skills.

You should have the confidence to talk to people on a professional level and be able to approach challenges in a calm and professional manner.

It is essential that you have experience of working within a learning and development environment and providing training support or similar duties.

It is also essential that you have some knowledge of the care industry and possess IT skills covering Word, Excel and Outlook.

An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for this vacancy (expense met by HomeCareDirect)
