**Salary**: £24,000 - £28,000 depending on experience

**Job Title**:Merchandising Executive
**Reports to**:Group Brand & Marketing Director
**Purpose**:
As a Merchandising Executive, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the product catalogues that power our new e-commerce marketplace platform. This role is critical in supporting the launch and ongoing optimisation of our digital marketplace by ensuring we have compelling, accurate and up-to-date catalogues.
You will work cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing and Sales teams to understand customer needs and business goals. Using this knowledge, you will develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximise the commercial opportunity of our product catalogues.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Driving the end-to-end process for creating, managing, and optimising digital product catalogues
- Partnering with suppliers to obtain product data and content assets to populate catalogues.
- Enforcing catalogue quality standards related to information accuracy, consistency, and presentation.
- Performing ongoing category and competitive analysis to identify merchandising gaps and opportunities.
- Developing a data-driven approach by leveraging analytics on catalogue performance and customer behaviour
- Staying current on e-commerce best practices and trends to infuse innovation into our catalogue strategy.
**Skills and Experience**:
- 3+ years of e-commerce merchandising experience, with expertise in catalogue management.
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Self-motivated with capability to work independently.
- Passion for creating seamless digital customer experiences.
- Proficient in relevant technologies and systems (e.g. DAM, PIM, E-commerce Platforms)
- Experience with Shopify E-commerce platform is desirable.
