We are looking for a Technical Director for a growing property company. Digital transformation and change management experience essential. Cyber Essentials qualification preferred but not essential.

Due to growth, a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to help or client shape and progress their tech You will have the opportunity to develop our IT strategy that aligns with our key business priorities, ensuring that IT acts as a key enabler to drivethe growth and success of the company

The person:
You’re a seasoned leader who cares about people, used to operating at Board level

You have experience of delivering large change projects, with demonstrable good outcomes

You will have worked with complex IT requirements and/or underpinning a group function, which services multiple clients or stakeholders

To have experience in digital and technological architecture across the full value chain

You’ll have strong commercial knowledge of business operations

You are used to a fast paced and demanding environment, you’re a resilient individual

You have good knowledge of security standards and legal requirements

You have experience of administering a wide range of software systems, device management and procurement

The role:
To develop the IT strategy ensuring the business systems are best in class

To oversee IT service delivery, through the highest standards and a customer centric approach, supporting a high growth national business

To progress a robust systems review, defining the right strategic approach, with the view to delivering an integrated technology platform with the right 'bolt ons’ to support every business function

To develop the model for change including: scoping and prioritising capability journeys, implementing the structure and resource for roll-out and defining governance controls

to embed the right culture to embrace the transition - To lead the technology function, providing direction, coaching, support and driving high performance through strong levels of engagement, competence and motivation

To foster a culture where people and technology achieve success together, achieving far more than they could separately

Recognised as 'the’ expert, to build strong working relationships, advising various levels of stakeholders, with especially close partnership and support for the Executive team

To support business impact assessment and business change related to new technology solutions

To have a constant eye on the market and emerging technologies, hardware and software, assessing if and how it could benefit the organisation

To lay strong foundations of policy, process, audit and quality controls, with a robust means for tracking hardware and software

To ensure strong measures for IT Security, with protection from growing threats and an ability to manage risk and enable business continuity

To define and manage the IT budget and promote strong financial management and reporting

To negotiate contracts with external providers for services and products that can not be provided internally, monitoring service delivery against standards

To direct the development and implementation of company-wide information and communication systems
