Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local primary school in Chesterfield. This is a full-time primary teaching assistant role, working in a Year 6 class which will commence in Jan 2023 until July 2023.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
The role
The desired Level 3 Teaching Assistants will be working in a Year 6 class, Key Stage Two (KS2). This will be as a full class Teaching Assistant from Jan 2023 - July 2023. Strong behaviour management would be advantageous. You should have excellent knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum to be able help and support the children in their final year and help set them on the transition into secondary school.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistant
Have experience of working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary environment.
Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staff.
Ideally have experience delivering primary lessons.
