Yard Assistant

We have an exciting new opportunity at John Nicholls (Trading) Limited. We are looking for a Yard Assistant at our Kidlington Branch.

**Job Purpose**:
As a Yard Assistant, you will be working in the yard at our Kidlington Branch. You will be responsible for safely loading and unloading of customer vehicles and suppliers’ vehicles. Serving customers and keeping the yard clean and tidy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Loading and unloading customers and suppliers’ vehicles safely
- Operating a Forklift Truck
- Checking supplier delivery notes against goods received
- Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping

**Who are we looking for?**

You will be happy to work as part of a team and have some customer service / warehouse / yard experience. Ideally you will have a forklift licence.

- Good communications skills
- Customer service experience
- Warehouse / Yard experience
- Self-confident and self-motivated
- Forklift Licence would be beneficial

Working Hours: 47 Hours per Week Monday to Friday plus Alternative Saturdays 0800am to 12.00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
