Capoeira Coaches

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coach to join our team. As a Coach, you will be responsible for Capoeira coaching in primary schools. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the development and success of children. Training will be provided and you will start of as an assistant and then overtime start teaching your own classes.

**Duties**:

- Create a class plan each week
- Learn music and teach children a song each week
- Teach the children rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport
- Work with the team to prepare the children for annual graduation and other events.
- Communicate with parents, team members, and school contact person
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in sports coaching or Capoeira field
- Strong knowledge of the sport(s) being coached
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- English
- Any second language a bonus
- Patience and understanding when working with children of different ages
- Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate practices and games
- CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
- Enhanced DBS
- Safeguarding course

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: From £8,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 5 per week
