Workshop Assistant

**Essential Supplies UK Ltd** is a leading national supplier of bespoke lighting, electrical and rigging products to industry and the events and production worlds. We are predicting continued growth over the next few years and anticipate this role will have great future career prospects.

We are looking for a **Workshop Assistant** to assist with manufacturing of innovative electrical products.

Responsibilities will be manufacturing and testing items from our extensive and diverse product range;
Following appropriate training you will assist in the manufacture of:
1. Bespoke power distribution boxes to customers specifications.

2. Extension power leads in a wide variety of sizes and specifications.

3. Lighting equipment as per the defined specification and requirements.

4. New and diverse product requirements from one off special items to line assembly of identical products on larger productions runs.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in producing high quality work with precision and reliability as well as enjoying working as part of a team using initiative and taking responsibility for your own work. Some production experience is preferred as is a heathy interest or qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline. A desire to learn new techniques and various construction methods is essential as the requirements and what you will be making will change regularly.
