Import Co-ordinator

**This long established and highly successful company is looking for an Import Co-ordinator to join their established team. The role includes a salary of up to £32,000 and benefits that include holidays that increase to 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysover time, pension scheme, and free onsite parking.**
**What will you be doing as an Import Co-ordinator**:
Working in the supply chain team, you will work closely with the wider purchasing team and local and international colleagues to co-ordinate the sourcing of finished products from overseas and ensure overall co-ordination of supply chain activity. Duties willinclude:
- Building and developing effective relationships with key suppliers
- Ensuring quality of service and stock supply from key suppliers to fulfil demand.
- Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
- Resolving issues where stock does not arrive exactly as it should
- Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process
- Communicating informed risks within the business to key stakeholders
- Preparing presentations, reports, and analysis
- Monitoring industry trends and reporting as required
**We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience**:
- Experience in an Import, Export, Freight Forwarding or Shipping role
- Experience of dealing with sea freight shipments from the Far East including all associated paperwork and processes
- Comfortable with Word, Excel and Outlook
- Highly organised
- An excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills
- Due to the office location you will realistically need your own transport
**What will you get in return for your work as an Import Co-ordinator**:
- A salary of £28,000 to £32,000, depending on experience
- 20 days plus bank holidays, rising to 25 days over time
