DS Smith are a global leader in sustainable packaging, and they are building a revolutionary CX team for which they are looking for a Solution Architect to completely redefine how they manage, interact and engage with customers throughout their end-to-endjourney. You would be the IT solutions Architect expected to play a leading role in aiding and defining a technology enabled/digital solution-roadmap, helping design the end-to-end customer experience and underpinning DS Smith's ambition to create a customer-focusedcontinuous loop to define and deliver new digital and non-digital solutions. This role would be perfect for someone with experience of architecting the delivery of IT Solutions within a CX, packaging or B2B environment.

You will be joining the team tasked with designing, developing and delivering customer experiences that will redefine packaging for a changing world. You would be joining a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions worldwide, operating in morethan 30 different countries and employing over 30,000 people. DS Smith has several programmes that will be delivered over the next 3+ years to support an ambitious agenda and CX global strategy will be at the centre of delivering regional benefits for thebusiness. You will be a part of defining the global CX strategy for the business and be hands-on in implementing this in overseas customer markets.

**What will you be doing?**
- Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints that drives customer loyalty and spend and documents all solution design and analysis work.
- Lead, in collaboration with the IT Business Partners, and wider IT operations the generation of 2-3-year technology roadmaps for the Cx and wider SMI function in support of our organic growth ambition, ensuring integration with enterprise architecture andprinciples, and overall IT strategic plans.
- Design solutions that solve customer problems at scale.
- Actively drive forward the organisation's innovation efforts and its role in experimenting with new IT solutions to take advantage of business opportunities.
- Help to define the global CX strategy of the business, and work with international stakeholders to understand local challenges and opportunities to grow. Communicate effectively with colleagues to implement CX strategy consistently across the global business.

**What are we looking for?**
- Demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational solution architecting initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
- Experience delivering transformational solution architecting in CX area.
- Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies, such as waterfall, agile software development and DevOps, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize.
- Ten or more years of experience in IT and business/industry.
- Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audience.
- Ability to propose and estimate the financial impact of solution architecture alternatives.
