**Oxfam Retail Charity Shop - Volunteer - Sales Assistants**

In **Oxfam Helensburgh **we're dedicated to fighting poverty and inequality. Our shop is in the heart of this beautiful town in the River Clyde

As Covid restrictions ease we are looking for more volunteers to help raise money by selling donated goods

We'll give you training and support so you can help us sell lots of goodies each week by providing customers and donors with amazing service.

We ask for 4 - 8 hours per week. We can be very **flexible** around parenting / caring / health / employment / education and any other commitments you have. There are numerous shifts available and you can choose to do 1 shift or more depending on your availability

Travel and lunch expenses can be covered too in line with Oxfam’s policy

**If you have a couple of hours to give to Oxfam, then we'd like to hear from you.**

We want to hear from you if you are:

- reliable and honest
- willing to learn new skills
- interested in working with a team
- Interested in meeting new people and making new friends
- Numerous shifts available during the week and they are usually 9am - 1pm or 9.30 - 1.30pm and/or 1pm - 5pm

Role:

- Operating the till
- Giving Customers a great shopping experience
- Keeping the shop floor clean and tidy
- Assisting with stocking and re-stocking the shop floor
- Accepting donations and encouraging donors to sign up for Gift Aid
- Assisting with displaying items for sale on the shop floor

There is also the opportunity to list items online, help pack and dispatch sold online items, sort through donations, merchandise window displays and enjoy lots of cups of tea
