Food Production Worker

Southampton, Hampshire

£9.82 to £10.63 per hour

Our client, a well-known local supplier of meat products, is looking for multiple Food Production Operatives to join their outstanding production team based at their location in the Hedge End area of Southampton. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established local company in a temporary to permanent role.

As a Food Production Worker your duties will involve:

- Weighing ingredients
- Packing burgers or sausages on our semi-automated machine
- Labelling products
- Stock rotation
- Grinding Meat
- Quality Control
- Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner
- Cleaning machinery and equipment
- Can work efficiently as part of a team and be able to work and meet timescales
- Physically fit and able
- Able to follow and adhere to our company standards, standard operating procedures and follow legal guidelines for Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
- Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure
- Will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Food experience an advantage

Two shifts are available with the working hours of either Monday to Friday 18:00 - 03:00 or Sunday to Thursday 03:00 - 12:00 - Full time 41 hours per week.

Hourly pay for the Food Production Worker is between £9.82 to £10.63 per hour, dependant on the shift, paid weekly in areas. Weekly attendance bonus available for successful completion of all shifts.
