**Salary: £71-£84 per day**

**‘good ’** primary school with
**‘outstanding’ **behavior in
**South Shields** is looking to appoint a patient, resilient, and confident learning support assistant. You will be supporting a child with an EHCP, with autism as the primary need. The pupil does not present with challenging behavior.
The main duties will include:
- Supporting the pupil in their education through the national curriculum
- Working with a class teacher to implement interventions
- Taking advice from therapists and implementing it when needed
- Supporting the planning and delivery of creative and innovative lessons
- Delivering phonics
- Promoting independence with life skills
- Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
- Be available for work Monday to Friday
- Have experience as a teaching assistant
- Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with ourselves)
- A fully checkable work history
- In addition to that, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants._
