Outreach Tutor

Are you a qualified Teacher looking for a flexible role to fit in with other commitments? Are you available for a minimum of 2 hours per day, Monday to Friday during school hours? If so, the Outreach Tutor position could be for you

We are looking for Outreach Tutors to deliver learning in the student’s home or in a local library. The tuition takes place in Enfield and surrounding areas and requires delivery of one-to-one lessons to students who are not currently education, many of whom have SEN.

The work is varied and can be extremely rewarding for those who know how to get the best out of young people. Numerous teachers and those who may have had a responsible supporting role have made the transition in order to have more flexibility and freedom at work, with more time to focus on their own well-being. The hours you work are flexible and to suit your lifestyle, however, we would ask for a minimum commitment of 2 hours per day Monday - Friday during term time.

The role often involves working with both the student and their families, so will require an awareness of social issues which may impact the welfare for the child.

If you feel you have the relevant skills and qualifications and you can demonstrate previous success in supporting young people with additional needs (Reception - 25 years) then we would love to hear from you.

If you have been a UK resident for less than 5 years, a right to work visa must be provided and a criminal background check must also be provided for any country you have resided in for 6 months or more within the last 5 years.

**Salary**: £25.00-£35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
