**About the Role: **

We have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, energetic, ambitious, and dynamic people manager with a proven track record of success to join our team and manage one of our recycling facilities in Leicester. You will be responsible for profitability, management of staff, efficiency and compliance.
The role is hands on, working with a small team you will be expected to make all the key decisions to maintain an efficient and well managed business.
**Site Manager duties and responsibilities: **
- You will be commercially astute and will enjoy running your own profit centre to achieve budgeted performance levels and KPIs.
- Champion Health & Safety and Environmental Performance throughout the business and instil a positive Health & Safety/Environmental culture within the recycling team.
- Maximise efficiency throughout the facility, maintain high levels of plant utilization and throughput. Promote continuous improvement by identifying unnecessary down time and wastage.
- Maximise the recovery of recyclable materials.
- Provide management and direction to your team of 6 recycling staff.
- High levels of customer service and satisfaction with prompt turnaround times.
- Providing prices and advice to customers.
- Securing best prices for disposal, haulage and consumables.
- Work in co-operation with the other sites in Leicester and Nottingham.
- Support the team with financial reporting and forecasting.
