We’re looking for a Transport operations administration assistant to join our busy team in Bellshill.
Working in a close-knit team, you’ll get involved with all the administrative tasks within this busy and service driven transport and warehouse environment.

**Job role**
You will play a vital role liaising with customers to establish their transport requirements, pricing jobs, booking jobs and preparing the necessary paperwork for drivers in line with all H&S requirements.
You will be further tasked with liaising with warehouse operatives and drivers, ensuring the safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods both via our own transport and our delivery partners. Efficiency and working at a fast pace are key in this role and you will also need to have a good eye for detail.
In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining vehicle fleet records and any other ad-hoc duties that arise from working in a busy transport office.
Above all, you will be self-motivated, conscientious, flexible and share our commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Full Training will be given.

**Job Role will include**
- Dealing with customers and suppliers
- Assisting in receiving goods inwards, inspecting goods for damage and quality checking products.
- Updating in-house storage system and labelling goods
- Stock checking and control
- Ensure all related Health & Safety regulations are adhered to
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Promoting our transport company and the prospect of new customers.
**Working hours**
08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
