This Prestigious company with a strong heritage and premium brand owner recognised as an everyday essential household product and a major market leader in their category across the UK are looking for a talented and experienced Export sales manager who isdriven and ambitious person looking for their opportunity in a business to drive, develop and sell into the export markets.
Internationally you should already have a strong presence in Exporting FMCG ranges and products and are looking for a new opportunity in a growing and developing international world markets delivering the company five year strategy and plans.
You will have proven sales experience as an existing export sales manager who is able to increase current business distributions and open new country channels/markets and customers as outlined in the plans.
This is a great opportunity to work cohesively with a supporting export sales exec and close knit progressive head office team.

**Responsibilities Include**:
- The priority is to effectively manage and develop your current distributor/retailer partnerships to maximise distribution gains within each market.
- Executing and delivering the sales and profit budget for the Export channel.
- Create and manage a network of distributors.
- Identify and exploit new export business opportunities in line with the companies 5-year Export strategy.
- Identify and implement route to market whilst also challenging your current distribution partners.
- Responsibility for negotiating and renewing exclusivity contracts (where applicable) and pricing models by region.
- Manage an agreed portfolio of accounts to maximise volume, product distribution and profit.
- Develop and implement annual account plans.
- Agree, implement, and evaluate promotional activity.
- Exercise good financial controls to ensure that customer account expenditure is within budget and debtors are reviewed weekly.
- Comply with relevant local, country, and international law and process.
- Adherence to foreign market export regulations
- Attend and participate in trade events, exhibitions, and conferences both domestic and overseas.
- Establish good working relationships with the customer base.
- Complete all administration on time and in full.
- Ensure frequent and accurate trade intelligence is reported.
- Safeguard the company designs, formulations, processes, and reputation in all matters.
- Make sure Export loads are checked and signed off before they leave site. This will be supported by images of each pallet.
**Qualifications/Knowledge & Skills**
**Essential Requirements**:
- At least 3 years current experience of Export Sales Management within the branded FMCG sector
- Good working knowledge and understanding of foreign regulations and requirements regarding export sales.
- Extensive experience of negotiating prices, promotions and annual terms are essential for this role.
- A current passport with no restrictions and the ability and aptitude for extensive foreign travel.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- A full and valid driving License.
- Working with EPOS data to effectively manage sales volume and value and forecast demand.
- Flexible attitude, clear strategic thinking and attention to detail.
**Desirable but not essential**
- Additional foreign language skills at business level are desirable but not essential.
