Access School provides individualised SEN education within a tailored therapeutic learning environment.

Children may have been out of education for significant amounts of time, and presenting with needs such as autism, high levels of anxiety and social, emotional and mental health needs.

Small student numbers mean we can give our very best to the young people who come through our doors every day, and we'd love you to be there too.

Duties
- Learning about each individual need
- Evaluating behaviours and finding the cause
- Active listening is key
- Reaching out to those who need the most
- Never a dull moment. Never
- Inspire and educate
- No question is a silly question; it is something new to explore
- Groupie. Being our student’s biggest groupies
- Supporting emotional, social, and learning needs
- Unconventional engaging tasks
- Prepare to belly laugh
- Proactive. What can we do to support this individual?
- Ooze enthusiasm about everything we do
- Role modelling expected behaviours
- Talking and debriefing. We all get it wrong sometimes
- Awareness of individual needs and past traumas
- Safe and secure for students
- Sometimes we need to reflect too
- Individual. No one is the same
- Supporting and being understanding even when it doesn’t make sense yet
- Team working and incredible communication
- Always be the best you can be
- Never thinking inside the box

34hrs per week, term time only - paid for 44 weeks in 12 equal instalments.

Family Care is committed to Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; therefore the successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Part-time hours: 34 per week

**Salary**: £10.60-£11.60 per hour
