Holiday Inn South Normanton M1 Jct 28 is looking to recruit a motivated Maintenance Handy person. With extensive painting and decorating skills to enhance our Property Team

A fantastic Hotel and Conference venue, boasting 163 bedrooms, 10 meeting rooms, Open Lobby Bar & Restaurant ample free car parking, situated on both Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire’s borders with easy access to the M1 and major links to the cities of both Nottingham and Derby.

Our **Maintenance Handy Person** at the Holiday Inn South Normanton you will be part of a passionate Maintenance team carrying out appropriate work promptly that takes pride in delivering high standards of workmanship for our guests.

The Role:
**Maintenance Handy Person/Painter and Decorator **will also be required to follow all company statutory health and safety, hygiene, and electricity at work regulatory requirements during repairs.
- Respond to all inquiries promptly
- Follow planned preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure good relationships with internal and external customers and contractors
- Ensure energy conservation initiatives are implemented
- Follow C.O.S.H.H regulations

The Person:
Previous working experience in a similar role is preferred
- Painter and Decorator experience is essential.
- Excellent attention to details
- Effective and clear communication skills and the ability to work closely with other departments and hotel guests.
- A key trade would be desirable but not essential.

This is a full time 40 hours per week role working 5 days over 7 including weekends and bank holidays, we operate a rota system so flexibility is a must
