The client is a market-leading distributor of automotive parts.
Due to the company’s growth, it seeks to bolster its internal sales/technical team. If you have experience in the technicalities of truck or trailer products and enjoy providing solutions to customers you will feel right at home
What is in it for you?
A very competitive salary dependent on your experience, 25 days holidays plus bank holidays, bonus, 37.5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
In the role, you will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and will enhance the growing requirement for technical knowledge within the heavy-duty vehicle sector.
You are responsible and accountable for developing and capitalising on all sales and margin opportunities in the area of Technical Support, always taking into consideration the customers tight time frames for feedback.
This role requires an individual who enjoys a dynamic fast-paced environment, solving customer technical queries and converting into sales to which you have a share of responsibility. Some customer visits could be applicable dependant on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for inbound technical enquiries, focussing on the sales element of the enquiries
- Accountable for the policing of technical data, loaded into the ERP and the website where applicable
- Control and communicate market intelligence into specific departments
- Manage customer expectations with the ability to handle difficult scenarios
- Share equal responsibility for all inbound call traffic to support sales function
- Provide full support function for warranty approval and quality control sign off, whilst minimising the risk to the business and upholding the business's reputation for a quality aftermarket product.
