Macildowie are pleased to be working with a leading company in **Newark** who are currently recruiting for a **Finance Assistant** for a **12 months FTC.**

This is a full time role, flexible start and finish times.

This is a **12 month contract**, which offers a **hybrid** work mode, working from home 2 days, and 3 days working in the office. You will be getting involved in a variety of finance task, and will be reporting directly into theFinance Manager.

The salary for this role is **£20,000 -£23,000**, depending on experience.

You will be supporting the accounts function and learning the below duties and responsibilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing costs and billing summaries.
- Ensuring fees are raised accurately and on time.
- Raising and imputing invoices into the accounting systems.
- Liaising with clients with any invoices queries
- Assisting with the reconciliation of the ledgers.
- Assisting the finance team with year-end.
- Supporting the finance team in any other tasks.

**Skills**:

- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Any relevant finance qualifications are a plus
- Good knowledge using Excel
- Strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients
- Excellent time management and organisations skills
