**Job Description**:
Reporting to the EAM Platform Manager the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) will perform an integral role managing and facilitating the RFP event. The PPM will serve as an interface between the Platform function and the core Procurement Team, ensuring the requirementsare coherently captured and verified by way of functionally approved Technical Specifications, Functional Specifications and any specific Procurement artefacts. Working collaboratively with the cross
- functional expertise, the PPM will ensure that procurementartifacts are adequately matured to be received by the core Procurement Team for various stages of procurement activity e.g., RFI, RFQ and Contract award.
Key Accountabilities
- To own the day-to-day management of tasks as per the baselined project plan.
- To establish and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. This will include your direct project team but also architects from other as well as the programmes and projects that require your services and, as well as third parties.
- To be responsible for the project administration and the production of project documentation, e.g. project plans.
- To monitor and manage the project processes and ensure that any elements which fail in the workflow are remedied.
- To track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget.
- To Report on these items to key stakeholders and to provide dependency information into Programmes and Projects.
- To anticipate, manage and resolve issues and act as the point of contact for the project.
- To run in-house projects on a day-to-day basis and take responsibility for their delivery using agile and more formal techniques as appropriate.
- Provide support and assistance in the promotion and adoption of Programme & Project Management best practices.
- Managing projects within a business function utilising all available resources and relationships
- Lead teams adhering to project governance. Has a depth of knowledge to ensure predictable and unexpected complexities are effectively managed through stakeholder influence & management.
- Managing dependencies, risks, plans, costs and resourcing for each project and dependencies across interlinked projects
Knowledge, experience and technical know how
- Delivery of complex projects dealing with new and/or innovative approaches
- Coaching colleagues on project management methodology
- Experience in both waterfall and agile environments
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to coach colleagues
- Expert knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
- Expert knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Comfortable working with and challenging senior executive stakeholders when required
- Working with a wide range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
