Press Brake Setter/operator

We are looking for Press Brake Setter/Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will need to be able to fully set the brake press as well as run the machine. There is a requirement to be able to read engineering drawings and understand the importance of producing a product to the same. Requirements/ Skills - Experience in programming, setting & operating Amada press brake - Physically able to operate the press brake - Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying materials - Basic computer and math skills - Reading and interpreting Engerineering drawings - Following job cards - Carrying out tool changes between jobs - Quality Checking and using measuring equipment - A positive attitude to work - Good time management - Experience with bending mild steel, aluminium and stainless steel, with a variety of thicknesses ranging from 0.5mm to 3mm - Maintaining a clean work area - Must be willing to learn and be flexible in the role as other duties may be required - Good communication skills and demonstrate ability to work safely - Forklift experience and licence would be preferred, but not essential to the role Working day shifts: 7.00am till 4.45pm (Monday to Thursday): 7.00am till 11.45am Friday
