**Job description**:
A global engineering business requires an Expeditor on a FTC basis. Applicants should have previous experience as an Expeditor within a manufacturing or engineering business. Experience with SAP would be highly desirable.

The Expeditor will join a large Supply Chain team. The position is available on a FTC between 6-12 months. The job is office based 5 days per week.

Specific duties of the Expeditor include:

- Placing of purchase order on SAP system
- Expedite the flow of materials between; suppliers, subcontractors and various company departments
- Supplier liaison to facilitate achievement of OTIF/OTD targets
- Coordination between suppliers and subcontractors to ensure achievement of project milestones
- Maintain procurement department data in SAP

Expeditor applicants should meet the following criteria:

- Previous experience in an expediting, supply chain coordination or purchasing role
- Familiarity with an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience in the use of an MRP/ERP system, ideally SAP
- Proactive, positive self-starter
- Comfortable being site-based 5 days per week.
