We are seeking a motivated
**Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher** to join the Experimental and Clinical Sleep Medicine group within the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences and the Sir Jules Thorn Sleep & Circadian Neurosciences Institute. We conduct human experimental and clinical studies on sleep and disorders of sleep with the aim of understanding their pathophysiology and treatment.

The post-holder will play a key role in the day-to-day management and co-ordination of the ‘Better Sleep’ theme, which is part of the NIHR Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre. The theme focuses on exploiting new sleep and circadian science to develop, test, and translate innovations to improve health.

The successful applicant will have significant knowledge of sleep and circadian science, as well as experience in developing and/or testing interventions. It is essential to hold a PhD in neuroscience, psychology, or related area, and have a strong track record in applied sleep and/or circadian science. It is desirable to have experience of working in mental health and line management experience.
