**Main Purpose of Role**:This role will overhaul, repair and certify general lifting and associated equipment according to approved company and quality procedures.

**Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities**
- Strip, inspect, assembly and conduct load test, proof and light load on following standard equipment, all according to approved company procedures and completing approved company documentation:

- Hand Chain Blocks
- Lever Hoists
- Grip Action Rope Hoists
- Sheave Blocks
- Beam Trolleys
- Beam Clamps
- Responsible for ensuring tasks are conducted in a safe manner and in accordance with applicable company procedures.
- Follows all Risk Assessments/COSHH Assessments as per approved company QHSE policies and procedures.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- Mechanical aptitude, ability to disassemble and assemble manual lifting machines
- Methodical and able to work to tight deadlines and adaptable to support changing needs of the client
- Ability to work as part of a team with the initiative to work independently
- Good communication skills

**This role is based at Unit 12 Denmore Road, Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, AB23 8JW.**

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
